What a weekend! We had an amazing time with our friends Tiffany and Steve on Anna Maria Island over on Florida’s west coast. The couple was surrounded by friends and family from Wisconsin to Ireland! The traditional Lutheran ceremony was at a beautiful church designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, followed by a reception on the beach with great live music (some of which was performed by the groom’s brother), along with food, fun and laughter. We had the pleasure of photographing Ashley and Simon’s cross-cultural wedding a few weeks ago. The traditional Catholic ceremony was held at Ascension Church and the beautiful and colorful reception was held at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach. The couple changed into traditional Indian formal wear for the big entrance, followed by an authentic Indian tea ceremony and amazing dance entertainment. Theresa and Ron had a beautiful traditional church wedding. Unfortunately, the weather did not hold out long enough for pictures on the beach afterwards. Fortunately for us, the decor inside the Hilton Melbourne Beach made up for the bad weather outside.
We meet Liz and Steve, after our wedding and about an hour before we left for our honeymoon to Germany. They are a super sweet couple and plan on tying the knot this fall at the new Duran Golf Club.
