Kristal and David met us in Orlando last week for one of our hottest shoots this year, no really, I think it was around 99 degrees in the shade that day. Even with the heat, Sara and I were able to grab some great shots of this couple having fun! We are looking forward to their “country” themed wedding in Fort Myers this fall. We love when couples put a little spin on the traditional. Hopefully, by then the weather will be more accommodating… We’ll keep you posted.

Suzanne & Jeff’s Wedding – Crowne Plaza, Melbourne Beach
16 07 2008We had a great time documenting Suzanne and Jeff’s wedding at the Crowne Plaza. Suzanne and Jeff came from West Palm Beach to have their wedding closer to family in Melbourne. After the ceremony, they had a beautiful reception under a huge tent on the deck of the Crowne Plaza. It was awesome to have the sunset light for the first dances and formalities. After dinner, they had all of their guests come back into the hotel for the largest candy bar I’ve ever seen. It literally filled a room. You’ll have to come back later for their slide show to see that mayhem.

Hanna & Kirsten’s Pregnancy Shoot – Am Burgberg, Germany
16 07 2008Kirsten is Fadime’s (the bride from the Germany wedding) brother. Sara and I noticed his glowing, pregnant wife Hanna and we couldn’t pass on doing a pregnancy shoot with them on the rolling fields next to the castle. This may sound dorky, but the shoot was near magical. The only thing that could have added to the perfect location and Hanna’s glow was a kiss from the sun, and that is exactly what we got.

Ranee & Brandon’s Wedding – Cocoa Beach, FL
16 07 2008You might remember Ranee and Brandon from a previous post called Trash the Dress. I can’t thank this couple enough for trusting us. Tiffany, from Tiffany’s Touch did an amazing job with all of the girls getting ready. Ranee’s make-up still looked flawless the next morning, before she went for a swim in her wedding dress.

Adrienne & Andrew’s Engagement – Ryckman Park, Melbourne Beach
16 07 2008Sara and I had a blast shooting Adrienne and Andrew this past week at Ryckman Park. This couple was super playful and willing to try anything we threw at them. They are currently living on the opposite end of the country in Seattle, Washington, but they are getting married in Melbourne Beach this December.

13.1 @ 33 in 1:57:36
14 07 2008I have been training about two months now, for the Space Coast Half-Marathon in November. Two months ago I was lucky to finish a mile without stopping. Well, our bodies are very adaptive and before long, I was running three to six miles, a few times a week. Then, today I turned thirty-three and I figured what better time to see if I could squeeze 13.1 miles out of my body. One-hour and fifty-seven minutes later I came to a rest. Ouch Ouch Ouch… That was a little more painful than I imagined it would be. It’s a few hours later now and I feel great! I’m sure when I wake up tomorrow it will be a different story, but for now, I am happy and it’s birthday. Life is good.

12 07 2008So, SUPPOSEDLY Lizandro doesn’t like having his picture taken…after looking at these you may beg to differ! We had a ton of fun with Corinna and her groom-to-be in downtown Cocoa village, and are really looking forward to their wedding in September at the always-wonderful Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront.

Fadime & Ron’s Wedding – Schloss Neuburg Castle, Germany
2 07 2008We are back from Germany with a little jet lag and some of our most amazing pictures ever! Fadime and Ron had the wedding weekend at the Schloss Neuburg Castle (approximately two hours south of Munich). Here are a few of our favorites. We have two days of shooting to edit. They had a civil service on Friday, followed by a traditional Bavarian dinner/party. Then on Saturday, they had their wedding ceremony and reception. As soon as we finish editing their pictures, I promise a re-post and a slide show.
